Did you know that in Minnesota, John McCain won the popular vote, but the delegates voted for Obama?

Amanda K.
Good opinion Amanda, but is it yours? What do YOU think?
ReplyDelete:( :( :( PROP 8 SHOULD HAVE BEEN NO! >:(
ReplyDeleteEllen is so sad :( :( :( (As are 100000 of peoples rights are being take naway due to siscrimination and homophobia) Heres a quote from an article:
"I like millions of Americans, felt like we had taken a giant step toward equality" by electing Barack Obama as president.DeGeneres says that with the passage of California's Proposition 8, "we took a giant step away."DeGeneres wed actress Portia (POR'-shuh) de Rossi in August, following a May Supreme Court decision legalizing same-sex marriage in California. She contributed $100,000 to fight the amendment on Tuesday's ballot.DeGeneres asserts she will "continue to speak out for equality for all of us."
I is my opinion. Why wouldnt it be Mr Fabozzi?
ReplyDeleteMaddy, we talked about Prop 8, remember, its what the people voted for... regardless of how you feel on the issue... shouldn't we respect that as well?
ReplyDeleteAmanda, just making sure it was your opinion!
"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of our Liberty to ourselves and our prosperity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America"
ReplyDeleteI memorized it all! Excellent!
Sorry its still bothering me :p But oh well if thats what most of the people want so be it...
ReplyDeleteI know the preamble too. But I so failed that test. I think.
ReplyDeleteWell Fabozzi, it was mine. And California is just being rediculous!
I would just like to ask, when did Mr. Fabozzi's blog about History, becaome about politics?
ReplyDeleteAmanda K.
Hey Mr.Fabozzi!!! I was sick today and yesterday so that's why I didn't come to school, but I just wanted to say hi! I have the Preamble memorized even though I haven't taken the Quiz yet, so I'll be ready to take it whenever that will be.
ReplyDelete"We the people, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice and secure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and secure the blessing of Liberty, to ourselves and our prosperity, to ordain and establish our constitution for the United States of America."

Amanda K.
Now that brings up an interesting conundrum, would you rather do anything or NOT lose everything?
